The Construction Women at Work (CWAW), an employee resource group of BASF Corporation, in partnership with the Ready Mixed Concrete (RMC) Research & Education Foundation is organizing a WALK FOR SUSTAINABILITY to be held on Friday, June 2 in Beachwood.  The Foundation is committed to promoting and enhancing sustainable development practices through research and education to help protect our environment, as well as promote concrete construction as a sustainable solution. Support of this organization is important for the concrete industry, and the Walk for Sustainability is an opportunity for employees of BASF to support the Foundation's work through a monetary donation. If you are unfamiliar with their work, you may learn more about it by visiting their website at http://www.rmc-foundation.org.

Please consider joining JuanAlfonso and the Admixture Systems leadership team on June 2 by supporting the Foundation through a monetary donation.  All donations are welcome and encouraged even if you are not participating in the June 2 WALK.   Donations can be made securely from this page by credit card, PayPal or check-by-mail.  Please help us reach our fundraising goal of $4,000!

The walk event will take place on Friday, June 2 rain or shine at the Beachwood site beginning at 11:30 am.  Following the walk, on-site walkers and donors will be treated to a luncheon.  You may attend the luncheon without participating in the walk, but luncheon tickets are required. Please see Sandy Brenner for luncheon tickets.

The Foundation is a 501(c)3 organization and all contributions made as part of this initiative are tax deductible. In addition, the Foundation has received a generous $3 million commitment from the Troesh Family Foundation, predicated on an industry 3:1 match, which means the industry needs to raise $9 million in order to receive the full $3 million. And your contribution as part of this Walk will count toward the industry match!

Thank you for helping in our efforts to support the RMC Research & Education Foundation!
